Chania

Chania is the second largest city of Crete. It is also the capital of Chania Prefecture.

It is a city very popular to both Greek and foreign visitors of Crete due to its magnificently preserved old town and old port from the Venetian era.

Chania's population is about 70.000, most of the population is located at the North.

Chania's crystal clear beaches, mild climate, food choices of sea and traditional specialties, as well as its nightlife are unique. Perfect for family vacations, with many attractions Chania is a place for holidays and -maybe- relocation.
